PROJECT

Reinvigorate a 1930s heritage rum brand in Latin America, while introducing it to the world.

Results

Our inspirational campaign for web, outdoor, and theater ads included challenging locations like skydiving, surfing, and the desert—all in Chile. We developed a single campaign, in English and Spanish, and directed the original score.

Film

The ad features an original score based on one of my own passions—1960s South American garage rock!

Fun Fact

While shooting in Chile, we decided that one of the scenes needed a wall covered in band posters. Since real posters would have caused legal issues, I whipped up make-believe posters that night, laden with inside jokes. Mike Piscitelli (director) and Starr (DP) became Miguel Starr. Ross, our shoot production tech became Rosso Intelligencia. I was set to go up with skydivers for a shot the next day; that became Sunset Jumpsuit. These are my DVD extras!
